About

As a freelance writer & editor, I've contributed to Maxim, Men's Journal, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Wired, where I'm a correspondent. I'm also a writer-at-large for Pop-Up Magazine, a live periodical. I was once profiled on public radio for being a gadget reviewer. From 2007-2009, I edited Kevin Kelly’s Cool Tools. While attending UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, I was Chris Anderson’s writing assistant on
The Long Tail. A bit more: I live in San Francisco with a pug named Gus. Thanks to US Army training, I can tolerate tear gas. I'm on Twitter.
